Interview with Guillaume Canet, actor in Acide, presented at the 76th Festival de Cannes, out of competition as a Midnight screening.
Acide: The new film by Just Philippot, presented at the 76th Festival de Cannes out of competition as a Midnight screening sees Guillaume Canet as the protagonist of an apocalyptic though realistic story about a man trying to save his family from acid rain corroding everything and killing everyone. Canet comments Philippot’s comment on his acting and personality: he’s not afraid of darkness. As a director, Canet then describe the beauty of only acting in a film and being guided by a director’s vision and elaborates on his character’s human imperfections.
