PODCAST | Matt Micucci interviews Toni Booth and Alice Parsons, Associate Curator and Interpretation Manager of the film Robert Paul: The Forgotten Showman.
Bradford’s Science and Media Museum is currently hosting a major exhibition on the Father of the British Film Insustry, Robert Paul, titled “Robert Paul: The Forgotten Showman.” In this conversation, we talk about it with the museum’s associate curator of film, Toni Booth, and its interpretation manager Alice Parsons. Aside from a brief history of Robert Paul’s life and influence, they talk about how the exhibition is structured and what will be exhibited. We also chat about the Museum itself, its history and its exhibition space, as well as the film culture of Bradford itself, which is the world’s first UNESCO City of Film.
