Phyllida Lloyd - Herself - La vita che verrà #AlicenellaCittà fredfilmradio
PODCAST | Chiara Nicoletti interviews Phyllida Lloyd, director of the film Herself – La vita che verrà.
Herself, the fourth film by Mamma Mia and The Iron Lady director Phyllida Lloyd, presented at the 18th edition of Alice nella Città and Rome Film Festival, is not only a tale about solidarity among women but also among people. It shows you how you can get even stronger than you thought you could become, when people support your cause. You become even more resilient, you become TITANIUM!! Written by the film’s protagonist Clare Dunne, Herself is a story of a woman who finds the strength to not only escape her violent past but to build a new life for herself and her daughters.
Herself – La vita che verrà: After a long time, Sandra finally finds the courage to escape with her two daughters from her violent husband. Fighting against a society that seems unable to protect her, and with the intent to create a warm environment for the girls, she decides to build a house with her own hands, just for them. During the undertaking, she will find the strength to rebuild her life and will discover herself, thanks to the support of a group of people willing to help her.
