Pedro Almodóvar regresa a los micrófonos de FRED un año después de conseguir el León de Oro honorífico de la Mostra, y lo hace con la presentación de su primer trabajo en inglés. Hablamos con el director manchego de The Human Voice, de las preocupaciones de su cine y del futuro del sector tras la pandemia por Coronavirus.

The Human Voice o La voz humana, es una adaptación libre de Pedro Almodóvar del monólogo clásico de Jean Cocteau. Una mujer espera en su apartamento la llamada de su ya examante, que se dispone a despedirse. Junto a la puerta esperan sus maletas, hechas desde hace días. El perro de él no deja de olisquear la casa, construida dentro de una nave industrial.
