He was born in Madrid in 1984. After his studies on Journalism he worked in Cadena SER [most- listened-to radio network in Spain], from 2005 to 2012.
He specialized in film reporting and contributed to the birth of ‘La Script’ [film and TV programme] as its deputy director. Between 2012 and 2015 he co-hosted ‘Tentaciones’ [film and TV programme in Canal + Spain]. In 2014 he launched ‘La Tropa Produce‘, an independent production company located in Madrid and contributed to found the Feroz Awards [Spanish Golden Globes]: he has hosted its red carpet programme several times.
In 2016 he created ‘Kinótico’, a film and series podcast focused on industry news, first linked to El Diario and later (from 2019 on) to Onda Cero radio network. In 2023 ‘Kinótico‘ evolved and transformed into a complete outlet on film, series and industry news with Martos as editorial director. He has been a regular collaborator to FRED Film Radio since 2018, conducting interviews in English and Spanish.
