Parliamo con Marta Savina del suo bellissimo film Primadonna, vincitore del Premio Raffaella Fioretta per il Cinema Italiano 2022 nella sezione Panorama Italia ad Alice nella Città. Sebbene sia ispirato alla storia della prima donna italiana ad aver rifiutato il matrimonio riparatore, Primadonna è un film più attuale che mai, che riflette sulle influenze culturali in cui si cresce, sulla famiglia, e sull’importanza di lottare per ciò in cui si crede.
Primadonna: Sicilia, anni Sessanta. Lia ha 21 anni, va a lavorare la terra con il padre, anche se lei è “femmina” e dovrebbe stare a casa a prendersi cura delle faccende domestiche con la madre. Lia è bella, caparbia e riservata, ma sa il fatto suo. Il suo sguardo fiero e sfuggente attira le attenzioni del giovane Lorenzo Musicò, figlio del boss del paese. Quando lo rifiuta, l’ira di Lorenzo non tarda a scatenarsi e il ragazzo si prende con la forza quello che reputa di sua proprietà. Ma Lia fa ciò che nessuno si aspetterebbe mai: rifiuta il matrimonio riparatore e trascina Lorenzo, e i suoi complici, in tribunale.
