Lucio Castro penned his first feature with a very personal and daring approach, getting to create a true story, a universal tale about love and chances and choices in life, a sliding doors kind of tale. He tells Angelo Acerbi about the great actors he was lucky to have and his inspiration in terms of the looks of his film.
End of the Century: An Argentinian man from New York and a Spanish man from Berlin hook up by chance while in Barcelona. What seems like a one-night encounter between two strangers becomes an epic, decades-spanning relationship, in which time and space refuse to play by the rules.
The Lovers Film Festival celebrates 40 years with 70 films from 26 countries, international guests and tributes to LGBTQI+ cinema icons. Directed by Vladimir Luxuria, from 10 to 17 April at the Cinema Massimo in Turin.
