Laurent Crouzeix – programmer – Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival

In this extract Laurent Crouzeix talks about the evolution of the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, which he is programmer of and which is in fact regarded today as the most important short film festival in the world. In the process, he also talks a little bit about how the role of festival has evolved in the promotion of short films.
Laurent Crouzeix is the film programmer for Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, where he also coordinates the short film co-production forum Euro Connection, and various industry events during the Short Film Market. He also manages the Shortfilmdepot.com online platform that connects thousands of filmmakers with some 40 festivals around the world.
