FRED’s Matt Micucci meets Joana Granero, founder and director of the London Spanish Film Festival, in occasion of the start of its 10th edition. With the festival having hit double digit, we talk about how the festival has evolved throughout the years as well as what this tenth edition has up for grabs, with its rich programme of UK premieres. On top of that, we also ask Joana about her own passion for cinema and what made her want to start a festival that focused on Spanish cinema in the first place.

Alice Rohrwacher has been appointed President of the Caméra d’or Jury at Cannes 2025. Known for her poetic and visionary cinema, Rohrwacher will award the best first feature at the festival’s closing ceremony on May 24.
