PODCAST | Nicolò Comotti interviews Jim Haynes, theatre producer and protagonist of the film Meeting Jim.

We have had the fantastic opportunity to sit down with a remarkable human being that goes by the name of Jim Haynes. The star that sparked a whole universe of lives and stories throughout the second half of the 20th century and beyond, 83-year-old young Jim is a life force that can give joy and hope to everyone, especially today when we need it most. This transpires in the beautifully earnest documentary by Ece Ger, a trip through Jim’s dearest places and the thousand of people that had the pleasure to share with him a slice of life or, most likely, a dinner in Montparnasse.

Meeting Jim: A journey back to the lifetime of Jim Haynes, an extraordinary 83-year-old man who grabbed the spirit of the 60s and continued to carry it throughout his life. This journey becomes also a physical one when he takes a train from the city of Paris, where he lives, to London and Edinburgh, the cities where he left his unique mark. At the age of 83, he keeps introducing people to each other because he thinks that the more people meet each other, the better the world is.
