PODCAST| Angelo Acerbi interviews Jia Zhang-ke and Zhao Tao, director and actress of the film Ash is Purest White. 

The famous director Jia Zhang-ke is in Turin as president of the Jury of the Feature Film Competition. In this interview he tells us about his film Ash is Purest White presented at the festival. A love story to tell the evolution of a country, using as his heroine his wife Zhao Tao, muse and through his cinema forever.

Ash is Purest White: Qiao is in love with Bin, a local mobster. During a fight between rival gangs, she fires a gun to protect him. Qiao gets five years in prison for this act of loyalty. Upon her release, she goes looking for Bin to pick up where they left off.
