An interview with acclaimed Danish war photographer Jan Grarup from the 2020 One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival in Prague, Czech Republic. Grarup attended the festival to present an exhibition of a selection of his own photos as well as the documentary, Photographer of War, which he is the protagonist of and was directed by Boris Benjamin Bertram. In this interview, Grarup talks about how he became a war photographer, the importance of discourse around the films he shoots and whether he ever feels in danger.
