Festival director Elysia Zeccola explore the program of the 24th edition of the Italian film festival that includes all three Italian films that screened In Competition at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
The Opening Night selection sees the audience heading north with “L’ultima notte di Amore”, a Milan-set thriller starring Pierfrancesco Favino and showcasing a different side of Italy, away from stereotypes and clichés and head to the Lombardy capital for a change of pace.
The closing night film, “Il Postino”, is a tribute to legendary actor Massimo Troisi who would have celebrated his 70th birthday this year. The Italian Cultural Institute is proud to support the 2023 edition of the Festival with a special program focused on four established directors and their latest productions.
