On the occasion of the World premiere screening of HAPPY TO BE DIFFERENT in the Panorama dokumente section of the 64th Berlin International FIlm Festival, Marina Fabbri meets with Gianni Amelio. In this interview Amelio talks about the genesis of the film, its inspirations and influences,  starting from the title to the couples and people portrayed in the film. With FELICE CHI E’ DIVERSO, Gianni Amelio relates a gay history of Italy since fascist times. His anthropological study becomes a cultural history of the country.
