At Focus London 2024, Fred Film Radio had the chance to speak with Emanuele Didu, the Production Manager for Sardinia Film Commission.
He shared some insights into his work, including supporting productions through every step of creating their movie or TV show, including location scouting activities. He also explained how they even help in the development of stories by connecting writers and filmmakers with communities.
Emanuele Didu went on to speak about the attributes of Sardinia as a location, particularly being an island with both towns and seaside, plays archaeological sites and historical architecture. Another unique aspect is access is unused prisons, something that has recently been popular.
A key highlight for 2024 has been the production of TV series “Iris“ and they look forward to a fantastic forthcoming year as well.
