At Focus London 2024, taking place at the Business Design Centre in Angel, North London, Fred Film Radio had the chance to catch up with Luca Ferrario, Director of Trentino Film Fund and Commission.
A year on from our last discussion, Ferrario reiterated his key mission make producers in the film and television industry more aware of the region of Trentino.
He discussed soms of the key highlights of the past year, including the filming of the stunning “Vermiglio”, a beautifully realised period-set drama, which is now the Italian submission for the Oscars. He held this movie up as an example of what is possible to shoot in the region, as well as reflected on the process of supporting the production, including ways to recreate the era and find the right faces for the actors.
