“Arnasa Betean – A Pulmon” dirigido por osa Zufia y Bertha Gaztelumendi se ha estrenado a la edición número 20 del London Spanish Film Festival.
Es un documental que celebra las cineastas vascas de ayer y de hoy y es una reivindicación no solo del cine hecho por mujeres, sino también de su valor cultural y social.
Ambas directoras comparten un enfoque en destacar la obra de mujeres que, a pesar de sus logros, han sido invisibilizadas en la industria del cine, centrándose especialmente en las realizadoras de Euskadi, Navarra y el País Vasco francés.
Estas directoras trabajan con una perspectiva de colaboración y apoyo mutuo dentro de la comunidad cinematográfica, algo que reflejan tanto en su trabajo como en sus declaraciones,subrayando la importancia de las redes de mujeres en el cine.
Al fin, la voz de las mujeres empieza a escucharse en el cine. Lo celebramos con este documental protagonizado por cineastas vascas de ayer y de hoy, que muestra una visión universal del tema. Tres buceadoras nos guían por la temática de sus películas, su mirada, sus sueños, sus esfuerzos por salir adelante y, sobre todo, su aportación al cine y a la sociedad. Descubriremos a las pioneras, y nos sorprenderán trabajos de veteranas cineastas o de jóvenes que están triunfando en los festivales.
