En Kinótico, durante nuestra cobertura especial del Festival de San Sebastián en colaboración con FRED Film Radio, hemos charlado con Lola Dueñas y Carmen Machi, dos de las protagonistas de la serie “La mesías“. Es la nueva producción de Javier Calvo y Javier Ambrossi para Movistar+, que se estrena el próximo 11 de octubre. Con ellas hemos hablado de su llegada al proyecto y de su proceso de trabajo con ‘Los Javis’, que se han inspirado en el caso de las Flos Mariae para crear una serie en torno a una familia hiperreligiosa que alcanza el éxito a través de una serie de videoclips.

La serie “La mesías” llega a la filmografía de Javier Calvo y Javier Ambrossi tras “Paquita Salas”, “La llamada” o “Veneno”. En esta producción de 7 episodios cuentan cómo el vídeo viral de un grupo de música pop cristiana compuesto por varias hermanas impacta en la vida de Enric, un hombre atormentado por una infancia marcada por el fanatismo religioso y el yugo de una madre con delirios mesiánicos.
