Simone Aleandri dirige Ambra Angiolini ( e non solo lei) nel suo primo lungometraggio, La Notte Più Lunga Dell’Anno. Nella notte del solstizio di inverno si raccontano storie diverse che accadono a Potenza, un luogo notturno magico e affascinante che Simone ci racconta come ha fotografato. Ambra ha liberato tutta la sua bravura e ci racconta come Simone l’ha portata in questo stato di grazia che possiamo apprezzare.

La Notte Più Lunga Dell’Anno: Durante la notte più lunga dell’anno, tra il 21 e il 22 dicembre, quando il sole tramonta intorno alle 16.30 e sorge all’indomani alle 7.30, in una città di provincia s’intrecciano le vicende di alcuni personaggi: un politico a un passo dal baratro; una cubista che vuole cambiare vita; un ragazzo coinvolto in una relazione con una donna molto più grande; tre ventenni in cerca di emozioni. Quindici ore di buio ininterrotto, in cui il destino umano si fa eccezionale, poiché la notte fa perdere gli ancoraggi del giorno e gli eventi subiscono un’improvvisa accelerazione.
