After a long research, Craig Goodwill found in Turin the perfect location for his psychological thriller Sadie so there couldn’t anywhere else to premiere it but at the Torino Film Festival. At the Fred’s studio in Torino, Goodwill talks about the making of the film with the male protagonists of the story, Jakob Cedergren and Valentin Merlet. Cedergren plays the ex-lover, the one representing the demons of Sadie’s dark past. Merlet represents the better life Sadie could have. They simbolically portray the constant battle between love and passion and our search for a balance in these two components through our life.
Sadie, a budding erotic novelist who, along with an enigmatic woman named Francesca, are enticed by an ex-lover to join him at an Italian villa. Once there, Sadie is confronted by the demons of her past as she becomes embroiled in a surreal game of murder and betrayal.
