NO ONE’S CHILD is based on the true story of ‘Haris’ a young boy found living wild in the woods among wolves in the Bosnian mountains. He is captured and put in an orphanage where they attempt to tame him and his behavior. Along the way, ‘Haris’ makes friends with ‘Zika’ in the orphanage and together they befriend rebel ‘Alisa’.
In 1992, in the midst of war, local authorities force ‘Haris’ to go back to Bosnia to fight on the frontline.
FRED Film radio caught up with writer/director Vuk Rsumovic and actors Denis Muric and Isidora Jankovic to find out more about this very touching drama.
We are delighted to announce that this film won the RaroVideo Audience Award for the Best Film of 29. Venice International Film Critics’ Week, independent section of the 71st Venice Film Festival.
